Re-Mortgage / Mortgage - Fees

Please note VAT is charged at 20% or the prevailing rate if different.

• Re-mortgage with high street lender – £430.00 plus VAT at 20% (£86.00)
• Equity release mortgage – £480.00 plus VAT at 20% (£96.00)
• Please note that mortgages/remortgages with non-high street lenders will require an individual quote with fees dependent on the lender’s requirements.

Additional fees

• CHAPS transfer fee – £25 plus VAT at 20% (£5.00)
• ID verification fee – £6 plus VAT at 20% per name (£1.20)
• Unregistered title fee – £100 plus VAT at 20% (£20.00)

Disbursements

• Searches – £186.00
• Official copy entries – £14.00 per title
• Land registry search – £7.00 per title
• Bankruptcy search – £6.00 per name

* Fees are based on the electronic registration of mortgages through the Land Registry.

Our mortgage/remortgage fees include:

1. Obtaining copies of title documentation from HM Land Registry
2. Dealing with lender’s title queries
3. Obtaining a redemption figure for your existing mortgage (if any)
4. Complete the mortgage and register the same at HM Land Registry.
